Full Native Landscape Design Service
I do a limited number of full landscape designs each year.
This service might be right for you if…
…you have a large property, and you want to leverage that, do what you can to help our rapidly declining populations of bees, birds, and other wildlife. You know that your individual property could have some significant impact.
…you can envision meadow and forested areas, but you want to be sure that they aren’t overwhelmed with invasives. You’ve begun to tackle a few things and the workload was…let’s just say it was impressive. You’d like to be sure that you focus your efforts in ways that will give you long term results. There needs to be a strategic plan.
…you may have a not-so-large area, but there are some significant design challenges to some of the things you’d like to put into your landscape: a patio for entertaining, a deck, or a firepit area. Maybe you have waterfront with some special considerations.
You can have the peace of mind that comes from an excellent, well-thought-out plan. Detailed instructions and hands-on supervision during installation. And the knowledge that at each step of the way, the needs of wildlife and the environment have been addressed.

How does this work?
We meet, and do some talking and walking around the site. I’ll give you an estimate for your design. Depending on the complexity of the design, the cost will typically be in the $2,000 – $5,000 range. You make a 1/3 down payment, and I spend some more time walking, taking photos, and getting measurements.
A few weeks later, I’ll come back with concept sketches for you to look at and we’ll talk some more. At this point another third payment is due.
Design completion and planning of installation:
When finished, you’ll receive a large, detailed drawing called a “plan”, with a list of all the plants. At this point the final design payment is due. Now we’ll start to plan your installation, which is a separate project, as far as scheduling and billing is concerned. Costs of installation generally come in starting at around $20K (at the low end).
